COSRX The Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care Serum focuses on uneven tone and areas of excess pigmentation, making it a good choice for post-blemish marks, dark spots and skin that has lost some of its clarity. The formula is led by 2% alpha-arbutin, supported by tranexamic acid and niacinamide to take a more rounded approach to discolouration.

Hydrating and soothing ingredients including hyaluronic acid, panthenol, madecassoside and allantoin help keep the formula balanced, so the focus on pigmentation does not come at the expense of skin comfort.

The texture is lightweight and easy to layer between toner and moisturiser. With consistent use and daily sun protection, the serum helps dark marks appear less noticeable and skin tone look clearer and more even.

Suitable For

Normal, dry, combination and oily skin. Particularly suited to post-blemish marks, dark spots, uneven skin tone, dullness and sun-related discolouration. COSRX lists the product as suitable for all skin types.

Use after cleansing and toner. Apply an even layer over the face and allow to absorb before moisturiser. For areas that need more targeted care, the serum can be layered two to three times.

Can be used morning or evening. Always use SPF during the day, particularly when your routine is focused on pigmentation.
